Pumpkin Patch!!!

Yesterday my hubby and I went to visit our friends Meg and Steve to watch the Penn State football game in Leesburg, VA. Go Penn State! We are ranked 6 for all of you out there who haven't checked the rankings yet. It has been quite awhile since we have had a good team. Of course our schedule isn't that tough per say, but wins are wins and we keep doing it! Did you say Rosebowl? That would be AMAZING!
So after watching the game, we headed over to the pumpkin patch. My hubby had never been to a pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin off of the vine!!!! (Neither had Meg and Steve!). So needless to say, it was a must!
These 2 photos aren't from the Pumpkin Patch that we went to. They are from a stand on the east side of the Bay Bridge. Josh and I went on a little adventure on Friday.. and we just happened to stop here. The biggest pumpkins that I had ever seen!

And the prettiest mums!
So here we are in Leesburg at the Temple Hall Farm Regional Park. Here is Josh wandering through the pumpkin patch with his pants rolled up like Huckleberry Fin.
Meg and Steve...
Meg found a good one!

I found a good one!

Very typical of Josh... pressing his pumpkin. Everything always somehow relates to working out.  He has even bench pressed me...

Waiting for the tractor to come back.

Looks like someone had a pretty good time! Like his glasses? I got him a pair of Oakley's for his birthday!
Weighing our pumpkins.. Of course it wasn't a competition, but mine is the bigger one in front. It was 32.something pounds and Josh's was 29.something pounds.

Meg pulling my giant pumpkin.
Me, pulling my giant pumpkin.
Yes, I had to get in the radio flyer. And, yes I did have high heels on. I am only 5'3" and I have to wear heels 99% off the time because my pants are always too long. I got made fun of for wearing my heels to the pumpkin farm, until we were in the corn maze and we were able to track where we had already been because my heels left prints all over the path. They made fun of me... and that is ok. I like to call it Strategy.  :)  So, next time you go to a corn maze ladies... wear heels!

Here's Huckleberry Fin again...

Gorgeous sunset! We were still in the corn maize... hoping to get out before dark.
No, Meg is not sleeping. Yes, Meg wanted to sleep. Meg and Steve ran 20 miles the morning we went to the pumpkin farm because they are training for the Marine Corps Marathon.

Lots of posts to come!!! Have been shooting a ton!
