Happy Thanksgiving.....BELATED!

Ok....A bit of catching up to do. For Thanksgiving both of our families came down to visit, which was a huge blessing. We had a wonderful time and loved hosting our first Thanksgiving.  From past blogs you might know that Grammy has been quilting for YEARS! She donates them to Lutheran World Relief. Well, as you may or may not know, Lutheran World Relief is located here in Baltimore, MD, so we took a little drive. Of course it wasn't open, but we were still able to snap a few photos outside.

While the turkey cooked we ran across the street to take some photos of Josh's family. It wasn't ideal, but we made do. We will have to take them again when we have more than 15 minutes....and the sun is not so harsh. Below are my mother and father in law.
Here is the whole family. My father is actually taking the pics.

This was funny... Always some kind of episode. Well, mom Elliott thought that dad Elliott needed a little hairspray...

The three generations! Grammy who is 95...and the ages of the others we won't reveal.  :)

You would think I would have a few more pics...but Allison was taking care of that because she got a new camera. I was busy cooking.  :)  But she did take an awesome photo of my first turkey.  You should check out her website: www.makeupbyallisonelliott.com  Allison works for Laura Geller in NYC and does wedding makeup.

A Terrible Blogger I am!

I am officially a terrible blogger. Hopefully, in the next few weeks I will catch up and post some of the other photography opportunities that I have had this past fall....

Last weekend Beth and I went into Baltimore to take some photographs. We had a blast! We got some great shots. She is super photogenic!
But before we see the fun shots, we took a few head shots for business matters....BORING! The rest of the shots are for her mother for Christmas. Every year she gives her mom updated photos.
So... keep scrolling to see the fun shots...and there are more to come. I was having some trouble loading photos and decided to go with what I had up and upload a few more later.

We had lunch with some friends, Katie and Katie... and then headed to Fells Point to take some photos. It was freezing! I am going to have to get some gloves with the little fingers!!
Just another cute little side street in Fells.
Some pics by the water.... A few wouldn't load... Technical difficulties!

Some experimenting with the lighting. Beth had an audience for these pics.
A little nook to take pics in. We think we were allowed in?!? Regardless, we got great pics! Sometimes you just have to be ready to adventure. :)

Love them!!

All the following pictures were taken on another day since we ran out of daylight on the first shoot.  There are a few areas of the city that I have been staking out.... Couldn't wait to shoot there! It proved to be an adventurous day. We had a difficult time finding parking, and then we found a lot that you had to tuck your money into. We had never seen anything like it! Slightly old fashioned...

Isn't she cute?

So cute, that even people driving by stopped to take pictures!

This is one of my favorites! Love it, love it!
Up on the parking deck striking a few poses... You should see the sequence of them. It would be a funny flip book! I always have to get a jump out of people. I just can't resist!
Walk the catwalk.
Isn't she natural?

I hope you don't mind resting your head there, against the dirty, COLD, concrete...
Yay! A place I have been so excited for... and I like 'em!

A small piece of the city.

Another little side alley. Beth is just laughing at her new friends. Everyone was watching her wherever we went. They asked what we were taking pictures for. I just kept telling them to keep their eyes out for the latest billboards.  :)

So sad to see our day come to an end... Maybe next year at Christmas we can go on another excursion for her updated pics for mom! (oh...and she is to be engaged soon, so watch for her in an engagement session!!!!

Oh Christmas Tree......

Time to crack open a bottle of wine, put on the Christmas music, and decorate the Christmas tree...
Here is Josh crying about decorating the Christmas tree, which is funny because he actually ended up enjoying himself. About 10 minutes after we finished decorating the tree, I heard our kitchen time going off... Apparently  he had a time allotment for the amount of time he planned to decorate. He thought it would take 4 hrs...it only took 35 minutes! :)
See my reflection below? Just having a little bit of fun with the camera. I think Josh ended up doing most of the decorating!
Here is Chester!
